For Student Participants
The Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State Award is an invitation only event. Each Undergraduate and Graduate first and second place winners, in Arkansas, Nevada, and Oklahoma, will be invited to compete in the Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State Award. The 2013 Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State Event will offer $118,000 in cash prizes during its Spring 2013 Competition, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. First place winners in each division will win $30,000, Second place will win $20,000, and Third place winners will not receive cash awards. Faculty Advisers of the First and Second place teams will receive $7,000. Each team and their school will also receive a trophy.
During the awards ceremony, one team member from each team will have an opportunity to present an Elevator Pitch. The team member will have 90 seconds to introduce him/herself by name and present the complete business idea to a panel of judges. At the conclusion of the presentations, the judges will score the presentations and one team from both the Undergraduate and the Graduate track will be announced at the awards dinner and receive $2,000 in cash.
